This ministry helps to maintain and upkeep our grotto area. The grotto is a representation of Our Lady and Bernadette at Lourdes, France. This area is a place of beauty and rest for our parish. The grotto provides a beautiful place of prayer and enjoyment of the natural beauty on our parish grounds. Our church community uses this grotto to crown Mary during May Crowning on the first Sunday of May. The support of our parish family of this grotto is recognized in the names of parishioners included on the brick path leading to the grotto. There are also stone plaques outlining the mysteries of the rosary surrounding the grotto to aid in prayer. Those who love gardening and have a special devotion to Mary would benefit in helping with this ministry.
