As Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC), we assist in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Jesus during the Liturgy of the Eucharist. EMHCs also bring our Eucharistic Lord in the host to those members of our parish family who are sick or homebound (see also Homebound Ministries). It gives them a chance to share in the Sacrament of Communion, an opportunity to share their faith and friendship to fellow parishioners and to serve God by proclaiming the Gospel of our Lord during these visits.

By contacting the church office you can get involved in this ministry of bringing Jesus' Body to those parishioners in most need of God's mercy. This special ministry allows you to distribute both species (bread and wine) at Mass approximately two times each month. After a short training in the administering of Holy Communion, you will be able to serve God in a most fulfilling and spiritual way.
