Worldwide Marriage Encounter is an experience for married couples who seek to grow in their marriage bond that they made through their vows and by the grace of the Sacrament of Matrimony. It is also for priests and religious who want to strengthen their relationships with their church communities. The Worldwide Marriage Encounter experience is primarily a space for you to pause, reflect, and reconnect privately. The experience allows you to create a dialogue with each other and with God, to create a higher and broader understanding of what it means to be married. While faith is a powerful part of this process, the focus of the Marriage Encounter experience is on the ups and downs of married life. Married couples of any denomination, mixed-faith, or without religious affiliation are welcome! The Marriage Encounter experience is a weekend-long retreat and is currently locally held at the Savior Pastoral Center in Kansas City, Kansas. There is a registration fee to signup and a free will donation asked at the end of the experience to help with costs. The impacts of keeping your sacramental marriage a priority are endless. Learning to love your spouse in a deeper, more intimate way will spread over into how you view your spiritual life, your children, your family and those around you.
